Product Review- Mother Sparsh Baby Wipes

Hello friends,

I am back with a product review.

Out of the many things that we new moms use, baby wipes become our best friend over the first few weeks and then this friendship lasts longer than we expect it to.

The wipes are consistently used through first few months and also later, used over the most delicate parts of our babies who already have sensitive skin; this makes choosing the right wipes even more important.

Being conscious about environment and using wipes minimally, I came across a brand that makes eco friendly wipes, the wipes are bio degradable and hence I went for these without giving a second thought. The wipes were sent to me for review, but trust me they are as good as they claim to be.

Let me share with you more about the brand first.

Mother Sparsh initiated it’s journey around one and half years back with a clear motive to launch baby products that are gentle and help in maintaining the soft, delicate baby skin. With this thought, they brought to us India’s first water based wipes – 98% water wipes.

Some details on the product-

Mother Sparsh wipes are 98%water and 0% polyester. The material used is Plant derived Fabric which is 100% Biodegradable (100% Viscose)
The majority of wipes available in the market are non biodegradable, adding massively to the landfill. Mother Sparsh baby water wipes are 100% viscose, made up of super soft fabric, these are gentle on environment too as they are 100% biodegradable. These are clinically proven to effectively prevent Rashes.

Which mom doesn’t fear baby rashes? With it’s simple and natural formula Mothersparsh baby wipes reduce the rashes that otherwise only worsen with the use of other chemically loaded wipes.
Watch this video by another mom to see what her tests on wipes showed!

Since cleaning with pure water is much safer these are best suited for sensitive allergy/ irritation prone baby skin. Here is my take on wipes-

The wipes’ fabric is extremely smooth and highly absorbent unlike polyester ones which tends to irritate baby skin.

Cleaning baby skin with these wipes is like cleaning it with soft cotton and water. These wipes don’t even have strong artificial fragrance that most other wipes are seething with.
Most wipes are cream based, they leave an extra layer on baby’s skin that may in turn lead to irritation. I prefer using cloth and water to cleanse baby skin, but these wipes come in handy and what better when they are just what you want- “water and natural plant based fabric”!!
These are easily available on all leading e-commerce platforms like firstcry/amazon/paytm/flipkart etc.
click here  to get your pack of Mother pack of 80 wipes will cost you R. 175/- on offer; buying a pack of 2 will give you a good deal, costing only Rs.332/.
Do check out Mothersparsh website for more information and interesting articles on babycare.
I would have loved it even more had the packaging been ecofriendly too, but I guess for now this is the best option available amongst ecofriendly baby wipes.

It is great when brand think consciously towards the environment, because as a brand one cannot support the environment unless the society decides to step in. I have been hearing a lot about this brand and I am sure it is promising

Thank you for the review. Using anything for first time for a baby brings on anxiety.
